David Luiz’s Arsenal future will be one of “several issues” resolved by the club in the coming days, the superagent Kia Joorabchian has said.
三级成人视频Joorabchian, who represents Luiz, said the delay in sorting the defender’s contract extension has been because of the impact of the coronavirus crisis.
Luiz cost Arsenal two goals and was sent off in their match against Manchester City on Wednesday night. After the match he said it was his fault that Arsenal lost.
三级成人视频The 33-year-old also declared that he wants to remain at the club and Mikel Arteta, his head coach, has made it clear he wants him to stay.
三级成人视频Joorabchian told TalkSport: “The situation from Arsenal’s point of view will be resolved this week. Not just David Luiz’s situation. There are several issues within the whole structure that will be resolved.
“The contract situation has dragged on not because of the will of David or Arsenal to finalise but really the situation that has occurred within the pandemic.
三级成人视频“There is no problem. It is just a case of allowing Arsenal to sort out everything that needs to be sorted out during this situation with the pandemic.”

Telegraph Sport revealed last month that Arsenal have been looking at giving Luiz a contract offer on reduced terms三级成人视频. The Brazilian currently earns around £120,000 per week, making him one of the team’s highest earners.
三级成人视频“As I have repeatedly said all through the pandemic, at the moment the most important thing is to get football back, not to talk about contracts and futures,” said Joorabchian.
三级成人视频“But of course now I think it becomes a moment when you have 14 days left and you are at a critical point in your career, where you have probably got three, four, five years left at the very top level.
“It works in the back of your mind but that’s not an excuse for yesterday’s performance. David also said he is not using it as an excuse for the performance.”
Arsenal have until June 23 to agree extensions with Luiz and full-back Cedric Soares, whose loan deal finishes at the end of the month when he will become a free agent.
The club is also yet to announce extensions to the loans of defender Pablo Mari, who was injured against City, and midfielder Dani Ceballos.
